Dr. Ian Thompson has over 18 years’ civil engineering experience, carried out in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, Malaysia, Thailand and Madagascar. He has extensive pavement design experience on highways and airfields. He is a Chartered Civil Engineer and a member of Engineers Australia and the Institution of Civil Engineers.

Senior Engineering Geologist:

Greg McNally has had 45 years experience in the coal mining and civil engineering industries, and was a Senior Lecturer in applied geology at UNSW for eleven years. He has taught several university short courses on geomaterials and has published Soil and Rock Construction Materials and numerous papers on the topic.

Principal Geotechnical Engineer:

Dr. Burt Look is a Principal Geotechnical Engineers with more than 27 years experience of the design of bridge foundations, slope stability and ground improvements. He is the past Chairman of the Queensland Chapter of the Australian Geomechanics Society.

Richard "Dick" Grimes CPT has over 30 years experience in training and operations management for private and public organizations in the US. He is the owner of Outsource Training Online, providing online training to Human Resource managers. More recently he has developed business skill courses for professional engineers.

Director:
Bruce Rodway and Associates

Bruce Rodway has over forty years experience in the design, construction and maintenance of road and aerodrome pavements. He represented Australia on ICAO's committee for load rating of large aircraft and co-developed the aircraft pavement design computer program APSDS.

Lecturer:

Dr. Nick Thom has extensive experience as a civil engineer and academic. He has practical experience and taught pavement engineering on airfield pavements, roads and rail trackbed.

Emeritus Research Professor:

Professor Stephen F Brown OBE, DSc, FREng is Emeritus Research Professor in the Nottingham Transportation Engineering Centre (NTEC) within the Faculty of Engineering and a specialist consultant in pavement engineering. He has a long and distinguished career and is well regarded worldwide for his contributions to pavement engineering research.

Associate Civil Engineering Professor:

Mr Dawson started his career in civil engineering as a Technician with major civil engineering contractors. He has spent 5 years with civil engineering consultants on a wide variety of geotechnical work as a senior geotechnical engineer.
